“Bee Healthy First” Health & Wellness Fair

September 27, 2018

Providence, KY – Health First will be hosting their first annual health fair. The event will take place this Saturday, September 29th from 10am-2pm at the Webster County Annex located at 1922 US HWY 41 A S in Dixon.

This is a free community event, designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, prevent and manage disease and connect you to resources.

There will be a variety of health screenings offered, health presentations, vendor booths and demonstrations. Health First staff will provide BMI, blood pressure and blood sugar screenings. The foundation of the National Lipid Association has provided a grant to assist in providing lipid panel screenings. The Lions Club will be on site with their equipment to provide eye screenings. Yoga with Dr. Kate will be providing a yoga demonstration and provide information on classes.

All participants will receive free lunch and t-shirts (while supplies last). Door prizes will be given away every half hour during the event. The grand prize drawing will be for a Fitbit.

We invite the community to attend this educational event. Be healthy and be happy!
